The landscape

The Asia renewable-energy developer landscape

This ranking covers 500 companies ordered by attributed renewable capacity in Asia. The top 10 alone account for 203.4 GW — 16% of the 1254.2 GW tracked across the whole list — so the file shows you both the giants and the long tail of regional developers behind them.

Every company carries its operating and pipeline megawatts, technology split and project countries, rolled up from Global Energy Monitor's project trackers (used under CC BY 4.0) and enriched with company data from public sources: 100% have a website, 35% a company email and 35% a phone number.

Ownership is attributed share-weighted per project, so joint ventures are not double-counted, and subsidiaries keep their own aggregates. Use the technology and country columns to cut the ranking to exactly the renewable-energy exposure you care about.

FAQ

Buying questions, answered

The ranking is built from Global Energy Monitor's project trackers (used under the CC BY 4.0 license) and our own contact-enrichment pipeline: project ownership is rolled up per company and ranked by attributed capacity (MW), then enriched with websites and company contact data from public sources.

One row per company with capacity rank, operating and pipeline MW, technology mix (solar / wind / hydro), primary and active project countries, project counts, website, and company contact data where available. Company-level data only — no personal data.

You receive both an Excel (.xlsx) and a CSV file, delivered as instant download links by email immediately after purchase. The files open in Excel, Google Sheets, and import cleanly into any CRM.
